Large trees, vines and flowers intertwine, basking in bright colours. The paint, combined with the accumulation of oil pastel, presents us with exuberant, sensual almost velvety layers . Grenier Nebout's gigantic canvases immerse us in the sensations and atmosphere of the forest. Wild animals and cohabit in harmony with calm human figures amongst dancing streaks of light. A fawn and a nymph, a doe and a man find themselves symbiotically intertwined.
