Mémoire Désir
Audrey Guimard is an artist and set designer. Her work is based on a sculptural approach to matter; her workshop is a material library, a laboratory where her smaller scale experiments nourish her large-scale projects. She likes to create bridges between architecture, land art, installation and design.
With Pic studio, she explores sculpture, interior design, art installations, design and land art. Her chosen material is the stone from quarry waste rock. She also works with metal, wood, plant fibres, organic matter and earth.
Audrey is committed to and advocates for alternative production methods. All the materials she uses in her work are a result of partnerships with companies and artisans and stem from production waste.
