Mémoire Désir
During a trip to Latin America in 2008, Laurentine Perilhou studied traditional macramé techniques with a Chilean artisan. Upon returning to France, she launched the brand LauClem, producing high-end ornaments from macrame and small stones.
Since 2009 she has been working with luxury brands and interior designers. Her knowledge – and revisiting - of macramé techniques allows Perilhou to explore numerous creative routes and to have the opportunity to work for some of the most beautiful fashion houses.
Her unique and precious pieces are handmade in her Toulouse workshop and sold worldwide.
Winner of the prize of the jeune création Métier d’Art in 2011, Laurentine Périlhou collaborated with Guerlain from 2015 to 2020 for their perfume range ‘L’Art et la Matière’. She joined the Hermès Académie des savoir-faire in 2019 in the textile category. In addition, the Banque Populaire Corporate Foundation has supported the development of her macramé work since 2021.
