Paper, Folds, Mobiles
My artistic practice embraces both depth and simplicity, centering on the conceptof emptiness—what is revealed by the absence of matter, hovering on the edge ofthe formless. It's about bringing attention to natural forces that are invisible at firstglance. In this process, I explore a paradox: sculpting emptiness, silence, andabsence through tangible materials, highlighting the intertwined yet opposingstructures of presence and void.
Inspired by various forms of life, I create architectures, landscapes, fractalmobiles, and other organic forms resembling plant skin or tree bark. These worksappear to move fluidly, like air or water, echoing the rhythmic motions of lungs orsea creatures. Emptiness takes shape within them, cell by cell, as if they areregenerating, like Phoenixes, embodying the cycles of life through their constant transformation.
These creations may symbolize resilience, both in their essence and in theirintricate crafting, evolving with new capacities. They capture the vitality of life—the interplay of movement, silence, and the abyss—where emptiness itself drivesthe flow of existence, much like the silent force behind music or the strengthfound in absence.
