Landscapes

Our works offer a poetic and sensory exploration of nature, observed with wonderand filled with phantasmagorical and chimerical elements. They present faces, shapes, and moods that evoke imaginary gardens, inviting you to delve into ourpractices. These creations draw analogies and parallels with human societies andbiological systems, which take center stage in our portrayals, illustrating both thesymbiosis and authenticity of life as well as the brutality and dysfunction inherentin our civilization.

Inspired by a myriad of species and contrasts, our art reflects the rich tapestry of colors, lights, and scents found in underwater gardens, on land, and beyond. Through abstract and dreamlike proposals, we invite you to immerse yourself inthese landscapes.

Marion Saxod transitions from her years of studying architecture and design at ESAG Penninghen to a passionate exploration of materials and biomimicry. She seeks out natural materials and repurposed waste, drawing inspiration from plantsand structural elements for her work.

Charles Guerlain finds refuge in various landscaped estates along the Mediterranean coast after studying at the École du Paysage in Versailles. He immerses himself in the heart of exceptional flora and fauna, navigating between decomposing leaves, distant horizons, and lush plant life. His artistic journey mirrors that of a gardener, characterized by a quest for connection and a slow, restorative walk through nature. It begins with feeling, then listening, touching, andultimately seeing—creating a moment of tranquility and refuge in the midst of the natural world.
