Beautés Sauvages
Beatriz Padilla is a Mexican painter, whose work was born of a revolt the day she became aware that the water resources of her hometown Mexico City were going to run out, and that the culprits were man and deforestation.
She then left to dig deep into nature; in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Brazil, Chile, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Gabon, the USA, and Europe. She captures signs of energy, colours and shapes which abound in the wild. This journey lasted for more than eight years. Each encounter led to the creation of an artwork, a unique dialogue between the soul of a place and this committed artist.
