Mademoiselle Maurice

1984 -

Mademoiselle Maurice

Having spent more than 4 years living in Paris, Mademoiselle Maurice designs and creates countless colourful works in her tiny studio, bearing the fruits of a journey rich in influences and lessons.

Through origami, lace, embroidery, and other mixed techniques, she creates artworks directly connected to her daily life. Her favourite materials are paper and thread; she likes to shape high-quality, natural materials in a complex way.

Emerging from the greyness of Paris, her nebula of works come forth from the urban monotony. Punctuating the city as well as her life, the work of this young artist with an abundant imagination is displayed radically: outside, on the walls of her workspace.
